Profound vs Peec vs Otterly: Who Sees Your AI Mentions

These three tools are built for three different buyers. Almost every comparison in this category comes from a vendor, which is why they all reach the same convenient conclusion.

I opened all three pricing pages while writing this, in August 2026. The price gap between the cheapest usable plan and the enterprise floor is wide enough to fund a junior hire.

Key Takeaways

  • Profound is the enterprise tool. Its entry plan tracks ChatGPT and nothing else, so the cheap door is not the real product.
  • Peec AI fits mid-market brands and agencies best, with unlimited seats on every published tier.
  • Otterly.ai owns the bottom of the market on price, with one catch: Gemini and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons.
  • All three bill in US dollars, so your real SGD cost is the sticker plus your card's FX charge.
  • Most Singapore SMEs should track 10 to 15 prompts manually for a quarter before paying anyone a cent.

What These Tools Actually Do

All three tools do the same core job. They run a fixed list of questions (the industry calls them prompts) through AI assistants on a schedule, then read the answers for you.

Three things come back: whether your brand got mentioned, where you sat among the brands mentioned, and which URLs the AI cited. Some score sentiment.

The citation data is the most useful signal. If Perplexity keeps citing a directory page and never your site, you know exactly what to fix.

Our guide on getting your pages cited by AI assistants covers that side.

New to the acronym soup (GEO, AEO, LLMO)? Our SEO glossary has the definitions, and we break down how AEO, SEO and GEO differ separately.

Profound: The Enterprise Play

Profound is the enterprise option of the three. It sells itself as a full marketing platform rather than a tracker, with autonomous "Agents" for content and AEO work alongside monitoring.

Its standout feature is Agent Analytics. That tracks how AI crawlers read your site, rather than what the chatbots say about you.

Now for the pricing. On its pricing page, Profound's Starter plan is listed at $99 per month billed yearly, tracking ChatGPT only, with 50 prompts, one language and one region.

Growth is $399 per month billed yearly for three answer engines and 100 prompts. Enterprise is a custom quote, up to nine answer engines.

One region is fine for a Singapore business, but one engine is not. A tool that only watches ChatGPT leaves most of your blind spot in place 馃憖

Profound makes sense when someone's actual job is AI visibility. At a 12 person Singapore company, the agents go unused.

Peec AI: The Mid-Market And Agency Pick

Peec AI is the one I would hand to a marketing manager.

Its engine list is the most honest of the three. Per its pricing page, every published plan lets you choose 3 models from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini.

There is no hierarchy where the important engines cost extra, just a cap on how many you track at once. Enterprise unlocks up to 11 models.

Pricing when I checked: Starter $95 per month for 50 prompts and 1 project, Pro $245 per month for 150 prompts and 2 projects, Advanced $495 per month for 350 prompts, 5 projects, multi country tracking and the Looker Studio connector.

Annual billing drops those to $80, $205 and $420. Enterprise is custom, and that is where API access and SSO live.

Unlimited users on every tier is the quiet win. Your client, your designer and your intern can all log in without a per seat invoice.

Peec also publishes an agency price list built around credits and client projects.

The weakness is that API access sits on Enterprise only. On the smaller plans, Peec is a dashboard you visit, not a data source you automate.

Otterly.ai: The One An SME Can Actually Afford

Otterly.ai is the cheapest real entry point. Lite is the only tier here a solo operator can expense without a conversation.

From its pricing page: Lite is $29 per month for 15 search prompts, Standard is $189 per month for 100 prompts, Premium is $489 per month for 400 prompts, and Enterprise is custom starting from $1,000 per month.

Annual billing brings the first three down to $25, $160 and $422. Every tier includes unlimited team members and daily tracking.

The price tag hides one thing. All four paid tiers include ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, but Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode cost extra.

Otterly lists Google AI Mode and Gemini at $9 each per month on Lite, climbing to $149 each on Premium. Claude is priced higher again.

So a Lite plan that covers Gemini and AI Mode is not a $29 tool. Google shoves AI Mode in front of Singapore searchers constantly, so treating it as optional is odd.

Credit where due: Otterly publishes API access, MCP access and Agent Analytics from the $189 Standard tier. That is more automation, at a lower price, than either rival offers that early.

The Prices Side By Side

Everything below was read off each vendor's own pricing page in August 2026. Check current pricing before committing, because this category reprices constantly.

Should A Small Singapore Business Pay For Any Of This Yet?

For most small Singapore businesses, the answer is not yet.

If you sell one service in one market, your entire prompt list is maybe 15 questions, things like "best aircon servicing in Singapore". You can run those yourself in a spreadsheet, once a week, for free.

Start with data you own. Search Console's generative AI performance reporting is first-party, free, and shows real impressions from AI surfaces rather than a simulated prompt run.

Our notes on tracking visibility across AI search explain how to build the sheet.

Pay for a tool when one of three things becomes true: you track more markets than you can hand check, you need to show a boss or client a trend line, or the manual work eats an hour a week.

Who Wins, By Use Case

Enterprise, with a real marketing team: Profound. The agents, the log-level crawler data and the nine engine ceiling suit teams with an owner for this.

Mid-market brand or a Singapore agency with several clients: Peec AI. Unlimited seats, sane engine selection, and an agency plan that fits multi client work.

Small business or solo operator who insists on a tool: Otterly.ai Lite, knowing Google coverage costs extra.

Small business being sensible: none. A spreadsheet, 15 prompts, and Search Console.

Agency building its own reporting: Otterly at Standard. API and MCP access that early is the cheapest automation on offer.

What We Actually Tell Clients

A tracker only tells you that you are invisible. Making you visible is separate work: content, citations, structure and a site AI crawlers can read.

Which of those to fix first is its own decision. Our breakdown of what to repair before anything else covers it.

We buy these tools so clients do not have to. Our GEO agency runs the monitoring in the background, on top of proper SEO services in Singapore, because pages cited by AI usually already rank.

Talk to a Singapore SEO firm about what your prompt list should contain. A call with an SEO consultant in Singapore tells you whether you need software or a spreadsheet, and you can reach us here.

Buy the tool when it saves you time, not because its dashboard looks good to your stakeholders.
